I am resurrecting the blog

I'm not sure if anyone will notice but it's time for me to start the blog back up.

No Western States for me in 2008. The lottery gods were not kind to me. It's interesting to see that the chances of getting picked in the lottery went from 26% for 2007 to 16% for 2008. As the race and the sport keep getting more popular either the qualifying standards or the 2 time loser rule will probably have to change.

I haven't signed up yet but my goal race for 2008 will more than likely be the Kettle Moraine 100 Miler. I think that will be a better fit since the terrain is similar to that of the poto.

I'll talk more about other goals for 2008 in the next couple of days.
